Hot Chocolate Cake

This super fudgy hot chocolate cake so moist and incredibly fluffy! Think of it as having a warm cup of cocoa in cake form. The cake is soaked in a hot chocolate made with evaporated milk and chocolate Cortés, a Puerto Rican style chocolate bar. I served it with a light whipped cream and poured more hot chocolate on the bottom. Every bite was pure chocolate Heaven!

There’s something pretty magical about drinking hot chocolate. If you drink coffee, or even tea, then you need to have a sip of that in your daily routine. But you don’t need to have hot chocolate. That’s a drink for pure pleasure. You do it just for you. Because there’s nothing like grabbing…

White Forest Cake

If you are already spotting cherries, don’t waste any other day and make this sumptuous White Forest Cake! This is a very fluffy, moist and soft white sponge cake with a very delicate crumb, thanks to using cake flour and some white chocolate in the batter. It’s soaked in a simple cherry syrup, filled with a homemade liquor-spiked cherry compote and covered with a light and soft whipped cream frosting. It’s a dream of a cake!

Lavender Flourless Chocolate Cake, with lavender infused whipped cream

You are going to fall in love with this light and airy, yet fudgy, rich and decadent flourless chocolate cake infused with lavender as much as I did. It only takes 6 ingredients and a bit more than an hour to prep and bake this amazing cake. The contrast of textures is what makes it so interesting; rich and decadent on the inside with a thin and crispy shell on the top. And it’s naturally gluten-free. The addition of lavender makes this cake perfect for any spring or summer gathering. And I promise the flavor is floral and mellow and perfectly balanced. Everything about this cake is sensational!

One of the things I love most about this cake is how unpretentious it is, and still it causes a commotion when it’s out of the oven and, most importantly, when someone takes a bite of it. It’s kind of unreal…

Cappuccino Cheesecake Bars

These cappuccino cheesecake bars are ultra creamy and silky, but you‘ll still have that wonderful coffee kick that you will love. They have a brownie bottom to make them ever more decadent. And they are topped with a pile of whipped cream dusted with cocoa and cinnamon, like a real cappuccino but without the mug. Lets say this is a coffee shot that you would be able to take anytime of the day!!

I have to admit I started drinking coffee veeeery late, as in less than 10 years ago. I had taken sips before, of course, but never had a daily routine of drinking coffee. My grandmother used to drink lots of it during the day. I’m talking about 5 to 6 cups a day. I loved sitting with her in…
